Nunca tive nenhuma relação com a falecida Nuvem Nove, mas tem uma galera que cresceu e se acostumou a comprar e vender discos lá. A loja fechou as portas em abril deste ano e rendeu esse documentário, Saudades da Nuvem Nove, que é um pouco mais longo do que deveria, mas dá uma geral na história da loja e de sua fauna agregada – desde celebridades locais quanto Marcelo Nova, Massari, Kid Vinil, Fernando Naporano, entre outras figuras.

Na real, os caras não mexeram muito… Deram um “pump” disco music típico deles pra psicodelia da dupla nova-iorquina ao mesmo tempo em que transformaram o tecladinho insuportável que é a marca registrada da canção em uma sirene meio house brega igualmente insuportável. Sutil ma non troppo, como é característico de Neil & Chris.

Nem vem regular mandar mixtape de sábado numa segunda, porque primeiro que último dia do ano tem mor cara de sábado e segundo que só assim pra eu retomar a seção, que havia hibernado. A dica é do Danilo: o produtor australiano Dave McKinney, que assina como Flow Dynamics, montou esse setzinho bala trazendo a lógica Girl Talk pra groovezeira funk setentona. This is a live Flow Dynamics mashup DJ set of funk, soul, hip hop, latin, disco, beats, and breaks, recorded in Barcelona as part of the Gold Diggers Festival at the Sala Apolo on 25th October 2007.
