E o Blogothéque conseguiu enquadrar o Yo La Tengo em seu acervo. Começou com um cover de Troggs (“With a Girl Like You”), emendou em “Our Way to Fall”, depois foi pro hit “Sugarcube” e terminou com o primeiro single do disco novo, “Periodically Double or Triple”. Ficou lindo.

Perguntaram pra eles, via Twitter, se o show era uma resposta ao U2 (o grupo de Bono Vox abria seu disco Rattle & Hum com “Helter Skelter”, dos Beatles, anunciando que “Charles Mason roubou esta música dos Beatles… Nós estamos roubando de volta”, além de ter recriado, na mesma época, o clássico último show dos Beatles no topo da Apple, em 69). Eles responderam que é mais uma coisa “u2 stole this from Jenny Holzer and we’re taking it back.”

Começo o dia com a coletânea que o Zé e o Gordinho (os pilotos da Maldita, no Rio) largaram em CD-R pelo Alley Club, aqui em São Paulo. O Custódio pegou uma delas e linkou no blog dele – e aqui eu relinko.
