O Batman de Orson Welles
E se eu te dissesse que o Orson Welles quis filmar o Batman em 1946 – e que o elenco incluiria, além do Gregory Peck como Batman, o James Cagney de Duas Caras, a Marlene Dietrich como Mulher-Gato, Basil Rathbone (que fazia o Sherlock Holmes no cinema) como Coringa? Mentira: isso foi lenda inventada pelo Mark Millar, aproveitando do fato do Welles ter flertado com algo parecido na época quando cogitou filmar O Sombra, que já havia feito no rádio, anos antes. Mas o projeto não saiu do papel (Orson Welles, né…).
Mas como metade de tudo que Welles está envolvido pode ser uma grande pegadinha, Millar aproveitou para “contar” a verdadeira história do “Batman de Orson Welles”. O trailer aí de cima também foi feito depois da lorota ganhar peso de fato via internet… E vale por cogitar essa realidade paralela, imagina que foda.

34) “Nascedouro” – Nação Zumbi
Único momento brilhante em um disco opaco (talvez por ter sido feito às pressas), a faixa aponta um rumo inesperado para a procura da batida perfeita em que parece patinar Fome de Tude. Pela primeira vez, tanto hip hop quanto dub saem do primeiro plano e, o que na maior parte do disco parece apenas ecoar idéias esparsas (como as letras de primeira hora de Jorge, as tonalidades mais Maquinado de Lucio ou alguma levada imperativa de Pupilo), encontra um contrapeso perfeito com o arranjo de metais escrito pelo maestro de frevo Ademir Martins e tocado pela Orquestra Popular do Recife. Assim que o sopro surge, a música ganha vida e ecoa a tristeza do canto negro do nosso país com o blues do afro-funk. Quem sabe o “it” pro disco perfeito da Nação seja justamente – e essencialmente – brasileiro.

Garota propaganda do iPod (“1, 2, 3, 4” ajudou Steve Jobs a vender seus aparelhos), Feist é uma jovem Patti Smith que ouviu mais PJ Harvey (“fase Is This Desire?”, ela sublinha) do que Bob Dylan. Assim, a doçura vem em primeiro plano – Seus sussurros roucos e o piano soturno não dão na cara, mas “My Moon My Man”, canção sobre amor inconstante, é rara jóia que coloca Nina Simone e Cat Power reunidas num mesmo fôlego.
