Afinal, o experimento proposto pelos 2ManyDJs de fazer um longo set só com introduções de músicas alheias é uma expansão de um projeto elaborado pelo DJ Osymyso no hoje longínquo 2002 – quando ainda chamavam mashup de bootleg ou bastard pop. Na época (pela capacidade de transmissão de dados pela internet pré-banda larga e pelos HDs minúsculos que todo mundo tinha então), o projeto durava parcos 12 minutos (mais de uma hora de download naquela era da conexão lascada) mas tinha a mesma onda: “Intro-Introduction” reunia nada menos que 101 introduções diferentes (e aí também tem um trocadilho, visto que 101 é o código americano para aulas do tipo “Introdução a tal coisa”), olha só:
