E ninguém menos que Julian Assange entrou ao vivo por Skype na sexta-feira passada para apresentar o primeiro show da nova fase de M.I.A., no Terminal 5, em Nova York. Ele falou por dez minutos aos fãs da cantora e elogiou-a como sendo “a mulher mais corajosa da música ocidental em atividade” além de citar a faixa da cantora, “The Message”, de 2010: “iPhone conectado à internet / Conectado ao Google / Conectado ao governo”, além de acrescentar que “ela tinha razão” à luz das revelações feitas por Edward Snowden neste 2013.
