Não tem erro: basta passar pelo crivo reconstrutor dos irmãos belga David e Stephen Dewaele, que carregam este trunfo como Soulwax, que qualquer música torna-se um colosso da pista de dança. Veja a singela “What Moves“, delicado tecnofunk minimalista solto no meio do segundo disco solo que o produtor californiano Sam Dust, que assina como LA Priest (e que liderava o Late of the Pier, lembram deles?) lançou no começo do ano, chamado Gene. Depois de remixada pelos dois, ela atinge uma tensão, um peso e um clímax que simplesmente não existiam na faixa original, como a linha de baixo sintética, as cordas de disco music , dando-lhe outra vida – além de quadris.
