Chuck D demite Flavor Flav do Public Enemy
A treta já não era de hoje: Chuck D e Flavor Flav já vinham se bicando há tempos e Flav já havia processado D em 2017 por achar que não estava sendo pago o quanto deveria. Mas quando o pré-candidato a presidência nos EUA Bernie Sanders anunciou que iria apresentar-se ao lado do Public Enemy, usando o logo e a frase-símbolo – “Fight the Power” – de um dos maiores ícones da história do rap, o MC de voz esganiçada que funciona como alívio cômico para o discurso implacável de Chuck D não gostou. Flav entrou na justiça para impedir que Bernie não associasse sua campanha ao Public Enemy numa intimação judicial que foi publicada com sua própria caligrafia assinando o texto: “Ei Bernie! Não faça isso!”.
